I spent £429.99 on a console with Kinect and FIFA at launch. Now I ain't complaining... but... man that's a good price. Consumer electronics, folks, pay more or wait and scoop up a bargain.
Absolutely, but it's more about convenience IMO. Steam are trying to make PC gaming as convenient as consoles, and even though building a rig is cheaper, it's incredibly daunting for most people before they learn the ropes.
Oh, don't misunderstand me, I ain't buying one. Might grab a Steam Controller out of sheer interest.
Yup. Gotta be honest, it makes GOW 3 HD look a bit weak.
I'd love to see some of this bleed over back into the Pokemon franchise. Donphan could become the most powerful Pokemon of the lot!
Haha, plenty of big name devs and pundits chiming in. Molyneux made me laugh.
Such a great game. Feels complete and great value, too, not a DLC vector or cliffhanger franchise-starter. Such a rarity these days.
Yeah, though PS4 owners have an easier time of it!
Aye, well said.
Oh man, that'd be awesome. And will never happen.
EDIT: That said, the best case scenario is that it releases this year and rocks! Fingers crossed, but Ubi can forget about a preorder.
Hard to quibble with the value. Feels like a proper old-school expansion pack, which are hard to come by these days!
In the old days I'd agree. Now games are continually prolonged and designed for massive replay value, even if it's to dip into.
I can't work out what's happening here. It says "confirmed," but it's also a rumour. What?
Such a pain. Same here, have to choose which game to sacrifice every time I get something new. Thank goodness for cloud saves!
Too right. Full disc installs make 500GB a joke.
Oh, and before anyone says, "but you can just pay more for external HDD/upgrade," remember that we're the customers here and it's our hard-earned cash.
Call me stupid if you must, but I got a cluster headache midway through the second paragraph.
Why say "we can't easily compare Splatoon to existing games because it defies traditional genre conventions" when you could write a baffling mini-essay on the subject?
I actually really like the meat of the review, but it's a challenging read for better and worse IMO.
Chances are they're developing the PC version and will then decide what needs to be changed/rebuilt for consoles. This leads to better games for all platforms.
Yeah, thought the RRP was a bit steep but the sale price is just ridiculous.
And Amazon have the capacity to price-match/undercut
Oh gawd, the Steam sale can't be far off either!
I'm so glad that gamers are starting to complain about this. Having to strain against tiny text is seriously annoying and should be so easy to correct! Just a little playtesting is all it takes.
